On Thursday morning of last week, the N73 was the location of a serious, but not fatal, accident when a truck overturned about four miles outside Kildorrery.
Gardaí confirmed that a man in his 40s suffered non-life-threatening injuries when the HGV he was driving overturned at approximately 9.30am at a bend just beyond Jebbtools. The victim was taken to Cork University Hospital by helicopter.
Five units of the fire brigade, three Garda cars and the Air Ambulance attended the scene. Investigations are ongoing at the moment.
