Bon Secours Hospital Cork was delighted to welcome over 300 General Practitioners (GPs) to their annual study morning in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, February 8th.
Across the day, there were nine sessions covering a variety of specialties such as cardiology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, urology, dermatology, paediatrics, and general surgery, including bariatrics and gynaecology. Each session was chaired by a GP and featured expert consultants sharing the latest advancements and insights.
Keynote speaker was Mr Neville Murphy, Irish Coast Guard winchman and paramedic on the Search and Rescue Helicopter based in Waterford, who hosted a session on ‘Calm in a Crisis’.
Commenting on the return to fully in-person events, Mr Harry Canning, CEO Bon Secours Hospital Cork said, “I am delighted to welcome so many General Practitioners back to our fully in-person event this year. This gave us an opportunity to meet our colleagues face to face to share the latest advancements, new services and consultants available in our hospital. Thank you to all who attended and to our fantastic speakers who made it a truly insightful day.”
