This week saw Carrignavar woman, Deirdre O'Donovan back on track with her weight loss on RTE's Operation Transformation.

Deirdre, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, was delighted to find, during a live weigh-in on the John Murray Show on Monday morning, that she'd lost five pounds. It came as a relief as she hadn't achieved her weight loss target the two previous weeks. John spoke to Deirdre and the other leaders on air.

Deirdre said she realised where she'd gone wrong the week before - it had to do with granola and Greek yoghurt! She also spoke this week about her addiction to fast food, saying she finds it hard to resist walking past fast food outlets.

To date she's lost 22 pounds in all, going from her starting weight of 17 stone 4.5 pounds to 15 stone 10.5 pounds. On Monday, Deirdre joined the other leaders for a photoshoot for a special supplement that will be part of the RTE Guide.
