With just one open and two confined plays left to run at the West Waterford Drama Festival in Ballyduff, anticipation is high as the awards ceremony on Saturday night gets ever closer.
This Thursday night sees the much loved Nenagh group arrive with ‘The Miracle Worker’ by William Gibson to complete the six plays in the open section.
Friday night brings near neighbours Kilworth Dramatic Society in their Ballyduff debut with Sam Cree’s comedy ‘Cupid Wore Skirts’ – sure to be a laugh a minute!
The final play of four in the confined section sees another new group in Ballyduff – Curtain Call Productions from Dungarvan on stage with ‘The Graduate’ by Terry Johnson.
That completed, all that’s left will be for adjudicator Peter O’Driscoll to announce the list of award winners. Best of luck to one and all!
