One of the country’s most talented and popular artists, Sean Keane, made a welcome return to The Village Arts Centre in Kilworth, last Saturday night.

For the village venue, it was the perfect start to 2026, with the Galway born singer proving an ‘easy sell’ for promoters. Having a proven track record of success, it was no surprise that the show completely sold out.

The bulk of patrons had seen Sean in concert before and knew exactly what to expect – a unique voice, performing a repertoire of much loved songs. Sean, whose booking diary is in a healthy state for 2026, was in superb form and combined well known numbers with some of his newer material. He was welcomed on stage by Emmett Coffey, who described Sean as ‘an old friend of The Village Arts Centre’.
