Nursing homes across Ireland recently celebrated Nursing Home Ireland Week 2015, and Amberley Home & Retirement Cottages in Fermoy got involved with a number of events organised between June 22nd and 29th.

The theme for the national celebration, promoted by Nursing Homes Ireland, was ‘It’s the people that make a difference’ and the quote of the week was ‘What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing,’ by CS Lewis.

The week's focus is all about happy active living in a nursing home, and Amberley Home in Fermoy had a very busy and enjoyable week where residents, along with their families and friends, joined staff and extended communities for the celebration.
