Nine month road closure for N73

A portion of the N73 around Annakisha is to be closed for up to nine months as Cork County Council complete widening of the road.

The 8.5 kilometre section of road will be closed from Oliver’s Cross to just before Hannah Griffin’s Bar from 4th March, and due to reopen on 4th December, unless work finishes before that time.

OBJECTIONS – FEBRUARY 14TH DEADLINE

Official diversions have been advertised by the local authority: traffic from Mitchelstown to Mallow should travel via Fermoy, and for those travelling from Kildorrery to Mallow, via Castletownroche.

Objections against the road closure are accepted until 10am on next Wednesday, February 14th.
