The comfortable surroundings of Fermoy Golf Club was the setting for last Saturday night’s social that honoured both Fermoy’s county winning junior B hurlers and members of Fermoy Ladies Football Club. The event attracted a large attendance, with players, mentors and supporters all well looked after by golf club staff.
Attendees were addressed by the progressive chairman of Fermoy GAA, Mitchelstown based solicitor, Ciaran O’Keeffe.
Ciaran acknowledged all those who were being honoured and expressed his support for the ‘One Club’ philosophy – a Croke Park initiative aimed at bringing the GAA, ladies football and camogie organisations under one umbrella.
