The party season continued in Ballyhooly Community Centre last Sunday with the hosting of an annual senior citizens' get together.
Over 80 sat down to a wonderful meal courtesy of a very hard working committee under the direction of Noreen O'Keeffe. The hot and tasty food was highly praised by guests drawn from Ballyhooly and neighbouring parishes.
Mary O'Connell and keen card player, Nora Beecher had the honour of cutting a very attractive cake – with this formality out of the way the cake was sliced and distributed to accompany the post meal 'cuppa'.
