The creation of 38 new jobs for Limerick and 106 new jobs in total across the Mid-West region, spread across nine small businesses supported by Local Enterprise Offices in Limerick, Clare and Tipperary, was announced this week by Minister for Trade, Employment, Business, EU Digital Single Market and Data Protection, Pat Breen T.D.
Thirty-eight new full-time jobs are being created by three Limerick-based companies Black Bear Software (x17 – Newtown, Annacotty), Celignis Ltd (x9 – Limerick City) and ABS Engineering Control (x12 – Rathkeale Industrial Estate, Co Limerick).
A further 42 full-time and part-time jobs are being created by three companies in Tipperary (Mack Engineering, Horizon Offsite Ltd and Phil Purcell Engineering Ltd), with 26 jobs being created by three Clare companies.
Recruitment for the new jobs began over the summer and all roles are due to come on stream by December 2020 across engineering, digital marketing, software and packaging industries.
