The success of credit unions up and down the country is underpinned by volunteers. Things are no different at Synergy Credit Union (formerly Fermoy Credit Union).

Following an intensive recruitment campaign, Synergy C.U. have succeeded in bringing new personnel on board.

Part of this initiative involved the hosting of an volunteer information night which took place at the Synergy Credit Union offices on Wednesday, September 19.

In a relaxed atmosphere, those present were given an insight into the roles played by volunteers on the credit union’s various boards and committees.

Synergy Credit Union representatives said they were delighted with feedback from the event.

They also took the opportunity to appeal for more interested individuals to contact the office in Fermoy.
