Cheering erupted in Mallow Community Youth Centre last Saturday night when Awbeg Macra na Feirme were announced as the 2018 FBD National Capers Champions.
Their hard work, mixed with some good luck, helped them secure victory by the narrowest of margins.
Several hundred people, some from as far afield as Cavan, came to watch the final of one of Macra's most hotly contested competitions.
Awbeg's variety show, entitled ‘Hit Us With Your Best Shot’, had something for everyone …
