WorkEqual’s (Re)Entering Employment event was held at the Metropole Hotel, Cork, welcoming 100 women on their journey into the workforce.
The service day offered a series of one-to-one sessions with a mentor, appropriate clothing for interview, information about supports and apprenticeships, as well as tools to assist in preparation for interview success as part of their ongoing pathway to employment.
Held in Cork, and throughout Ireland, WorkEqual Service Deliveries Days are kindly supported by corporate partners JP Morgan Chase, Penneys/Primark, and the Irish Public Employment Service, Intreo. This practical help is assisting to expand WorkEqual’s free services nationwide in 2026 to reach more women.
Over the past year, WorkEqual helped over 821 new clients, with 143 getting jobs by Christmas time and already another 47 reporting moving into employment in 2026.
