Running shoes were at the ready in Cahir recently, with the hosting of the Run4Fun event which raised funds for the Make A Wish Ireland Foundation. Consisting of a four mile road race, which catered for both seasoned athletes and those wishing to go at their own pace, the event was held on Wednesday, April 30th from outside the Morrison showrooms.

For every race participant on the day, some 434 in total, a donation was made to the children’s charity, Make A Wish. Since starting in 1992, Make A Wish Ireland has been granting wishes to over 1,000 children, allowing them to experience the strength, joy & hope each wish provides.

Thanks to Morrison BMW, this worthy charity benefited this year to the tune of €1,750. Fergal O’Sullivan recently accepted the cheque on behalf of the foundation, thanking all those involved with the successful running of the 2014 event. Roll on next year!
