On Tuesday next, December 10, the annual morning for the Simon Community will take place in Carmel’s Garden Centre in Kilworth, with floral arrangement demonstrations, a raffle and a clothes collection.

To give people ideas for Christmas, Rose Hickey will be there from 10.30am to do some demonstrations and everything that she makes will be raffled off.

Carmel will also be collecting clothes, duvets and other items up until Tuesday, should anyone wish to donate something and they can drop them into the garden centre.

There will be a representative from Simon there on the day and all money raised will go directly to the charity which helps the homeless. Light refreshments will be served.
