The latest government status report on the construction of social housing has been published, and it shows that there are over 200 units either built, or in the pipeline, in The Avondhu area.
These figures are an amalgamation of public-private partnerships, the Social Housing Capital Investment Programme, the Capital Assistance Scheme, and the Capital Advance Leasing Facility.
163 of these proposed units are in the Cork area, however, the construction of these developments is not in all cases seamless.
