It seems that Kelly McDonagh Mongan isn’t the only talented one in her family. Her younger brother Paddy is also an excellent singer.
Local man Donal O’Lochlainn shot video footage of Paddy singing the beautiful Irish ballad ‘The Water is Wide’ with Kelly and put it up on YouTube late last week. It’s recorded a whopping 15,000 ‘hits’ since!
Paddy’s rendition of the popular song is lilting and lovely and, with Kelly accompanying him, makes for an altogether accomplished performance. Who knows, we may yet hear more of young Paddy!
