Mitchelstown GAA who benefitted financially from the success of the Cavanagh's of Fermoy league winners draw, had the added bonus of having the winner of the top prize of a Ford Fiesta.
The man with the midas touch is Michael Cleary – brother-in-law of Mitchelstown GAA chairman, Michael Price, who convinced the Ballylanders native it was worth investing €20 in this long running draw.
First out of the hat in the preliminary draw, Michael Cleary was the last man standing last Friday night in Fermoy, which meant he was the owner of a sparkling new motor.
