Galtee Wheelers Cycling Club held their annual 12-hour Turbo Cycle on Friday, December 22 at Farrell’s SuperValu, Mitchelstown with the proceeds from the event going to COPE Foundation Mitchelstown. 

This in the fifth year the club has partaken in the 12-hour Turbo Cycle at SuperValu, with the Lions Club and the Forrest Hall the beneficiaries over the last four years.

Chairman of Galtee Wheelers Anthony Hanrahan, thanked Sean Farrell of Farrell’s SuperValu for allowing the Turbo Cycle to take place in his premises during the very busy Christmas period and he also complimented the great work done by everyone at COPE Foundation.

Jennifer O’Keeffe, chairperson COPE Foundation, thanked Galtee Wheelers for choosing them as the benefactors for this year and stated the money raised will go to great use in providing assistance to those with special needs.
