There will be an auction of antique and parochial house furniture in Mitchelstown this Sunday, being hosted by Edward Walsh Sales.

The auction takes place in The Firgrove Hotel on Sunday, October 20 from 2.30pm and items can be viewed on Saturday between 7pm and 9pm and on the morning of the auction from 10am until it commences.

Some of the items up for auction include a large carved Victorian sittingroom suite, a Victorian set of six sugan chairs, a ladies writing desk, a grandfather clock and a mahogany chaise lounge.

Other items include tables, chairs, gates, bookcases, a Tiffney lamp, display cabinet and a large collection of ornaments.
