Geoff Gould announces a mini Fit-Up Festival that includes three venues, the first taking place in Bartlemy Hall on Wednesday night, April 15 when Gunpowder Productions will stage ‘Every Brilliant Thing’, directed and performed by Clodagh Whelan.
Described as ‘a transformative evening of theatre’ by the Munster Express, it is the funniest play about depression you will ever see. This play has been performed in 80 countries worldwide which speaks for itself. Remember the date, Wednesday, April 15.
Then on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th, Brokentalkers will present ‘Bellow’ in Ballynoe Hall and the Palace Theatre Fermoy respectively.
‘Bellow’ is an exciting piece of theatre that fuses traditional music, electronic sound design, dance and new writing, to heighten the tension between past and present, contemporary and traditional, preservation and progress.
Danny O’Mahony has dedicated his life to the mastery of his instrument as well as to the preservation and performance of Irish traditional music, and in this wonderful piece of theatre, we see him perform alongside Brokentalkers’ Gary Keegan.
Tickets €18, all shows start at 8pm sharp with doors open at 7.30pm in each of the venues.
