The Fermoy Mental Health Committee, organisers of last Friday’s seminar for teens on positive mental health are delighted with the success of the event which was held as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

Young people from schools in Fermoy, Mitchelstown and other areas attended the seminar, held in Fermoy Community Youth Centre.

Committee member Geraldine Buckley said the talks were delivered by guest speakers with good humour. Much information was imparted in an easy to understand way and the seminar was very well attended, so much so, that the committee intends to continue with similar initiatives.
