The global fast food giant McDonalds, is coming to Circle K at Moorepark, Fermoy and interviews for staff at the restaurant are taking place this coming Saturday, October 27 from 10am until 2pm.
The 24-hour Circle K service station at Junction 14 of the M8 opened for business in September and it is expected that McDonalds will open at the site in early December.
The McDonalds restaurant was originally supposed to have a drive thru facility but following submissions made against the drive-thru, Cork County Council did not grant permission for such a facility and so, developers JR Oronco, put in an appeal to An Bord Pleanala.
However, the application was withdrawn thereafter.
