A Christmas gala night organised by members of Castlelyons Home and Garden Club succeeded in raising €3,200. The charities to benefit were Marymount Hospice and Cork ARC Cancer Support House - both received €1,600 each.
The money was presented in Castlelyons Community Centre last Thursday night with Antoinette O'Sullivan accepting on behalf of Marymount Hospice, with Joanne McCarthy doing the honours for ARC. Both ladies expressed their sincere thanks to the club and assured them the money would be well spent. The club wishes to thank everyone who supported the gala night.
