The Mangan’s in Conna are both nationally and internationally renowned as racehorse trainers of the highest quality but and now, for the first time ever, they have a horse competing in the Dublin Horse Show.
Mary Mangan, Jimmy Mangan’s wife, has trained event horses over the years but has never had a qualifier until now with her top quality four year old Galwaybay Blake.
He is a well bred horse by Tolan R out of the Kannan mare Doughiska Lass, and Mary spotted him as a foal in Galway and said she had to bring him home.
