Market House Craftworks, an artists’ and crafters collective in Cappoquin, are to close for good on Friday, December 23.
The trio steering the facility, consisting of Jane Jermyn, Joan Casey and Len Canton first opened shop in 2020, having signed the lease on the Market House in Cappoquin just before lockdowns in Ireland began.
Since then, it has operated as a workshop, retail space and gallery which has hosted some 20 exhibitions and over 120 artists and craftspeople.
With Joan and Len now moving to North Cork, and with business at a low, Jane explained that the Craftworks is now coming to a close.
