Gardaí have confirmed to The Avondhu that a man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a number of criminal damage incidents in Lismore.
It is understood that the man was arrested following a surveillance operation that took place at Lismore GAA Club after the club had been subjected to several instances of criminal damage in which rocks were thrown through windows at the local clubhouse.
“This man has been charged and has been brought before Lismore District Court …” a Garda spokesperson said.
