Major refurbishment works are scheduled for the Fermoy Community Hospital and preparatory measures are already underway.
Fine Gael councillor Noel McCarthy, expressed his delight that everything is going to plan so far and is looking forward seeing the process progress over the coming months.
“In recent weeks, substantial preparatory works were undertaken with the surveying of the entire site including the hospital and surrounding grounds.
The next milestone for the hospital is that a planning application will be lodged with Cork County Council early next year for the refurbishment works,” Cllr McCarthy told The Avondhu.
