It has been announced this week that the Department of Education has committed to a complete renovation of the Loreto Convent in Fermoy to accommodate the school’s growing numbers.
“It is proposed to substantially redevelop the convent buildings for the purposes of accommodating the school and its future expansion.
“It is proposed by the time the entire project is completed, Loreto Fermoy will be able to facilitate 900 students,” according to a statement issued to The Avondhu by the Board of Management at Loreto Secondary School this week.
