The Carmelite Lourdes Fund has a strong presence in Mitchelstown and thanks to the efforts of steadfast volunteers, hundreds of people have been sent to France's holiest site.
On Saturday night last, organisers and their supporters descended on The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown for a night of dancing – and more dancing.
On stage were local man, Jimmy O'Donoghue and his new look band along with east Cork's finest, Crystal Swing.
A fine crowd turned up and they weren't disappointed by the musical fare on offer. Jimmy and company were up to their usual high standard and Crystal Swing sung all their best loved tunes.
