LE Eithne crew ‘touched’ by Kilworth family’s effort

Little did David and Niamh Towey realise when they were building a float for the local fancy dress parade that a member of the LE Eithne crew would be in contact with them telling them just how much it meant to them and promising to come to Kilworth to show their appreciation.

Little did David and Niamh Towey and their children Éadaoin, Diarmuid, David and Niall realise when they were building a float for the local fancy dress parade based on the work of the LE Eithne, that a member of the crew would be in contact with them telling them just how much it meant to them and promising to come to Kilworth to show their appreciation.

The idea of the LE Eithne came to Dave while driving home from work on the Friday before the fancy dress was to take place in Kilworth as part of the local festival ...
