Two hundred and seventy ladies attended the Shine Ladies Lunch at the Clarion Hotel, Cork in aid of the Shine Centre for Autism last Saturday. The event that is generously supported by Laya Healthcare is in its second year and sold out within two weeks of its announcement. This year’s special guest was TV presenter and journalist Maura Derrane who paid tribute to the carers of children and adults with autism whom she said 'make a huge contribution to our society'.
