KILWORTH CYCLING CLUB
Last Sunday was a fantastic day for cycling with clear skies and very little wind. Three groups set off with two groups heading for Dungarvan, at different speeds, and the third group heading to Fermoy, Castlelyons and Coolagown.
The group cycling formation we are currently implementing is really benefiting all members as it is assisting each group in maintaining higher speeds by rotating cyclists at the front of the group thus reducing the wind factor.
The result of this is that the rest of the group getting some rest time and an opportunity for conversations ensuring a pleasant spin whilst taking your mind off the legwork.
If you are interested in getting fit for the year ahead, take up a new hobby or even both then we would love to have you join our club. The group set-up we have implemented in the club ensures that every level of cyclist is catered. Anybody who is interested can contact us via our Facebook page, Twitter or phone Paul 087 2288004.
Kilworth Cycling Club is also delighted to announce that Aiden Hammond of Bike Fit Ireland is coming to Kilworth for a bike fitting workshop on 19th April, places are limited so for more information and to book your place contact Damien Dingivan
Don't forget our Sunday morning spins leaving Kilworth at 9am. Keep your eye on Facebook for updates. We will also be resuming our Wednesday evening spins in the near future.
