To raise money for the ARC support house in Cork, there will be a coffee day in Carmel’s Garden Centre in Kilworth, this Sunday, June 23. There will be tea, coffee and a raffle from 10am until 6pm and representatives from ARC will be there to accept donations and tell people about the services they offer.

The Cork Aftercare, Research and Counselling (ARC) support house is a voluntary organisation, which provides a holistic centre for people with cancer and their families and they provide emotional support and practical help free of charge.

Carmel Towey of the garden centre said that she hopes people will pop in on passing throughout the day for a cup of coffee to support the good cause – all support would be greatly appreciated.
