The Kildorrery Community Development Association will hold a meeting on Tuesday night, May 21st at 8pm in Oaklawn Community Centre, with a view to forming a dedicated Tidy Towns Committee.
The work for the Tidy Town's competition was previously carried out by the development association and it has been brought to a very high level in recent years, but in order to bring Kildorrery on further in the national competition, they have decided to set up a dedicated committee.
Tomas Keating of the community development association said that it would be great to get some new people involved with fresh ideas and he said that it is a great way to get involved in the community, with people of all ages invited.
Anyone who is interested should come along to the meeting on Tuesday evening and even if they do not want to be part of the new committee, it is a great opportunity to put some new and innovative ideas out there. All are welcome.
