
Kildorrery Community Hall was filled with festive cheer last Sunday afternoon as the annual Senior Citizens Christmas Party took place.
Now a cherished tradition for more than 30 years, the event is usually held in early December, though this year it arrived slightly ahead of schedule on November 30th.
A total of 85 guests attended and were treated to a delicious four-course meal. Recently retired Canon Twomey and Church of Ireland members Canon Sherlock and newly retired Reverend Eileen Cremin, were in attendance, while Kildorrery native Andrew O’Dea cut the cake. Local Garda Vincent Guerin was also in attendance.
