Over the course of November, relatives and grandparents of students had been coming into Kildorrery NS to help students with the November Knitting Hours programme.

Every Tuesday, parents, grandparents, aunts and great grandparents came into the school to act as helpers, guiding the pupils on how to knit.

Some children had only held the knitting needles for the first time this year, while others managed to create wonderful scarves, blankets, bags and hats and they are hoping to learn how to crochet soon.

The staff and children at the school wish to thank everyone who came in to help them out throughout November, as the programme wouldn't have been possible without their help.
