The Kildorrery GAA/Community Development joint venture of a night at the dogs proved most successful when it was held at Curraheen Park greyhound stadium last Friday night. There was a huge presentation from the parish and surrounding areas and a great night was had by all. The organisers are deeply appreciative of the support received from all who contributed in any way, whether by sponsorship, taking adverts in the race programme or merely by buying admission tickets. Many thanks to all.

LOTTO

The club’s fortnightly lotto draw will take place at Ollie’s Bar, this Saturday night, when the jackpot will be €1,800.

COUNTY CHAMPIONS

Heartiest congratulations to neighbours, Mitchelstown, on a deserved win over St Colum’s in the Cork Co junior football final, at Pairc Uí Rinn, last Sunday. We wish them further success in the Munster championship, this weekend.
