
The community of Kildorrey came together on September 10th to support a series of events organised by local man, Garry Walsh in his mission to raise funds to make a difference to cancer patients at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
Together they raised a phenomenal €32,556 for The Mercy Cancer Appeal, which has been used to purchase equipment for St. Therese’s Oncology Ward. As part of this fundraising, Pauline Walsh and family held a coffee day in memory of her loving husband and father John Walsh, and raised a staggering €4,007 bringing the total raised to €36,563.
