Kevin McCormack and his pantomime production team are getting all geared up for their production of 'Cinderella' which they are staging at Corrin Event Centre (Cork Marts complex) in January.

The show will be directed by Kevin and choreographed by Jenny Hoare. This winning partnership both promise to deliver another fun filled and energetic production. “Cinderella is undoubtedly the ultimate pantomime tale, offering tons of scope for high comedy, high drama and high jinks!” says Kevin who will be donning his elaborate frocks yet again to play one half of the Ugly Sisters.

“We have a hilarious script, with gags galore for big kids and little kids alike”, Kevin continues, “and we’re really excited at the prospect of staging our biggest and best panto yet at Corrin Event Centre, it’s a state of the art venue which offers great comfort and convenience to performers and audience members alike.”

Some principal roles in Cinderella have already been filled but Kevin is still on the lookout for his leading man.

“Every great panto needs a hero, and I’m hoping to find ‘Mr Right’ for the fair Cinderella,” says Kevin, “I’m looking for a good young actor, aged anywhere from 16 to 25. He must be able to sing, and most importantly, he must have a sense of fun! We’ll be auditioning for some principal roles in the coming weeks and aim to find our leading man in the process.”
