The world premiere of CallBack Theatre’s latest play 'The Hole', written and directed by John Sheehy runs at Friars’ Gate on Thursday 12th and Friday, 13th February at 8pm.

John, who wrote the acclaimed 'Set in Stone', 'Fred & Alice' and 'Men Without Souls' is Theatre Artist in Residence at Friars’ Gate. 'The Hole' will be performed by Bren Barnett and tells the story of one man’s self- imposed exile from society. All he wants is to be left alone. Is that too much to ask? Apparently it is!

An epic new play that offers proof of life after death and practical advice on how to dig a really big hole!  Running time – 1 hour, tickets €12/€10.

ORIGINAL COMEDY ABOUT MOTHERHOOD

On Friday, 20th February, Take 5 present 'The MOMologues', a comedy about motherhood. This play rips away the gauzy mask of parenthood to reveal what all mothers know but don’t always talk about, from the joys of infertility, through reading the same books over and over and over, to finally seeing your baby get on the school bus for the first time.

Four separate characters tell their individual stories, the labour pains, the frustration of a simple trip to the shop, the quest to connect with other mothers, all of which causes them to plan mom's nights out and arrive in packs to laugh hysterically at this tribute to 'the toughest job you’ll ever love'.

Tickets €12/€10, bookings – 063-98727 or www.friarsgate.ie.
