Glengoura native, Jonathan Burke is still on the crest of a wave following his huge Galway Plate win on board Shanahan's Turn. Following on from his biggest career win to date, the talented 19-year-old was selected to represent Ireland in Australia.
To mark these fantastic achievements, a number of presentations were made in The Winner's Enclosure Bar on Friday night, August 14.
There was a huge crowd present to hear MC, William Kearney, chronicle Jonathan's dramatic rise through the ranks of jump racing.
