Jack Lukeman, affectionately known in the business as Jack L, has one of the most unique voices one would wish to hear. It's been quite some time since he last played in Kilworth and he is delighted to be returning to The Village Arts Centre on Friday night, April 25.

Jack Lukeman has proven once again that he is a force to be reckoned with. Performing last night at the Convention Centre with a 100 piece symphony orchestra from UCD (conducted by Ciaran Crilly), Mr. Lukeman demonstrated his expansive vocal range with aplomb.

A native of Athy in Co Kildare, Lukeman is also a talented songwriter and producer, but for me it's his knack for interpreting the work of others (e.g. Jacques Brel and Randy Newman) that really sets him apart.

Tickets (€20) are selling fast so make sure of yours by calling The Avondhu office Fermoy (025-32227), Cotter's Bar, Kilworth (27109 after 5pm), Hyland's Mitchelstown (24528) or call 087-6492514.
