Killavullen lights up for Christmas on this Saturday, Dec 7. From our knowledge, we are the only village in Ireland that lights up the street for Christmas. This is our second year lighting up, and this year even more lights have been featured in our display.

The event begins after 6.30pm Mass in the Church of St Nicholas’ in Killavullen with the church tree being lit up. Then all walk to Main Street where Santa and Mrs Claus will arrive in style to turn on the lights. Santa will then meet with the children in the beautifully designed grotto while entertainment is provided by the children of both Killavullen and Ballygown schools and Cuisle Avondhu.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

The annual Christmas Party will be held on Friday, Dec 13 in the newly renovated Community Hall.
