A well supported Friday prayer meeting in Mitchelstown was treated to a unique evening of audio visual Christian poetry, by Irish Traveller Willie Stokes. Those present said that Willie’s blending of Biblically inspired poetry set to music and with a visual backdrop, was truly awe-inspiring.

One highlight was the story of how he became a Christian, set to the music of the old hymn ‘This is my story’. All through the evening Willie gave glory to God for all that God had done for him. Throughout the evening, the message that people need to be ‘born again’ was central and the idea was to encourage people to enter into a spiritual relationship with Jesus.
