Irish investors take note: Gambling.com Group rebrands as Grandstand, New Ticker GRSD

Source: Grandstand.com

Gambling.com Group Limited has rebranded as Grandstand Limited, with shares beginning trading on Nasdaq under the ticker GRSD from 23 July 2026, replacing GAMB.

The corporate site now lives at Grandstand.com, and the consumer-facing Gambling.com brand continues exactly as it did before, helping users compare betting sites, find the right casino and access expert reviews, guides and gambling news across multiple international markets.

The timing tells its own story. A business with Irish roots, built over nearly two decades, has reached a scale where a name describing one comparison site no longer fits what sits behind it.

Since the 2021 listing, a series of acquisitions and product launches has steadily broadened the group’s portfolio well beyond its flagship consumer brand, bringing sports data, audience tools and entertainment products under the same corporate umbrella.

The rebrand looks less like a marketing decision and more like the paperwork finally catching up with the business.

Why Gambling.com Still Matters

The foundation here is editorial, not affiliate. Since 2006, the business grew by helping bettors navigate an increasingly complex market through independent reviews, expert guides and gambling content.

The site was built on a consistent, hands-on testing process and editorial guidelines published openly rather than kept behind closed doors.

That distinction, trusted publisher rather than traffic broker, helped the brand build credibility through its Nasdaq debut and remains central to how the wider group operates today.

From there, its reputation travelled well. Gambling.com became a recognised name across Ireland, the UK and North America precisely because readers came to trust its verdicts, not just its links.

Why Grandstand, Why Now

The old name described one part of the business. The new one reflects everything that has grown around it.

Since its Nasdaq listing in 2021, the company has expanded its portfolio beyond editorial content and comparison, adding sports data, advertising, audience solutions and entertainment businesses that complement its original consumer brands and broaden its role across the wider sports and gaming industry.

As more markets regulate, a single strong consumer brand is no longer the whole story. What matters increasingly is the infrastructure sitting behind it, the data feeds, the ad tech, the audience tools.

Grandstand gives that infrastructure a name of its own, while Gambling.com, OddsJam, Casinos.com and WhichBingo keep operating as the consumer-facing brands people already know.

The separation gives Grandstand a corporate identity built around the wider group, while allowing Gambling.com to continue focusing on the consumer experience that made it a recognised brand in the first place.

The Growth Areas Behind Grandstand’s Next Phase

Sports data. Through OpticOdds and RotoWire, the group supplies real-time odds, injury data and line movement to sportsbooks, trading desks, fantasy platforms and sports media. This is the clearest sign of where the business is heading: from helping consumers find odds to supplying the odds themselves.

Advertising. The audience knowledge developed through Gambling.com and the group’s consumer brands now supports commercial solutions that help operators connect with relevant users across trusted platforms.

Audience monetisation. Grandstand Partners extends that expertise outward, giving media companies, apps and creators the infrastructure to build their own commercial models rather than compete for the same audience.

Entertainment. Spotlight.Vegas adds ticketing and experiences across Las Vegas venues and hotels, the plainest evidence that a name built around gambling comparison had become too narrow for what the group actually does.

What Changes for Shareholders?

Very little, mechanically. The Nasdaq listing continues, the CUSIP is unchanged, and no action is required from existing shareholders. The strategy does not shift with the name. It simply gets a label built to carry it forward.

Grandstand is not replacing what Gambling.com built. It is giving the rest of the business, the parts that never fit comfortably under a comparison-site name, a corporate identity that matches their scale. The editorial trust that has carried the company this far stays exactly where it is. What changes is how much more the group can now grow around it.
