Bertha’s Revenge, a whey alcohol gin produced locally by the Ballyvolane House Spirits Company in Castlelyons, has added a Gold Medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017 to its impressive list of accolades.

Earlier in 2017, in March, they won the ‘Irish Drink Award’ at the prestigious ‘Irish Food Writers’ Guild Awards 2017.

“Needless to say, we are thrilled that Bertha is attracting this kind of international recognition and it means a great deal to us,” said Justin.
