The planned talk in Fermoy by social media innovator Noel Davidson of QED Training is attracting plenty of interest. It'll take place on Wednesday next, November 13 at Fermoy Community Youth Centre.

It's a breakfast meeting, beginning at 8.30am with a chance to meet the speaker and network over tea/coffee and scones. The event will run until 10am and will include a question and answer session at the end.

The man behind bringing Noel Davidson to Fermoy is local business and public affairs consultant JJ Bunyan, who was so impressed when he heard him speak at a senior enterprise seminar recently, that he decided his message could be of benefit to others. He's pleased with the positive feedback he's received and the number of people who have indicated their interest in attending.

He's also extended an invitation to transition year students in the area's secondary schools as he strongly believes that they too will benefit from hearing what the social media guru has to say about marketing and sales promotion, business improvement, innovation and entrepreneurship.

JJ Bunyan has also decided to offer local traders and businesses the opportunity to use the event as a showcase for their business by having a display unit with samples of their merchandise.
