Storm Dennis failed to deter the public who turned out in force for last Saturday night's dancing in Cappoquin Community Centre.
It proved an eventful night for the organising committee (Melleray Dancers) who were told on Saturday evening that the headline act, Michael Collins, wouldn't be able to make it.
Forced with a cancellation and lots of disappointed patrons, promoters activated plan B which meant securing the services of legendary west Waterford DJ, Mike O'Rourke, aka, Mad Mike.
An excellent fall back plan in theory, the reality was that the redoubtable Mike isn't at full fitness.
