Dear Editor,

I would like to highlight to The Avondhu and its readers the superb care I received at Cork University Hospital recently. I went into the cardiology day ward of Cork University Hospital on Monday (September, 1) to have a coronary angiography.

I am 81 years old and have travelled worldwide, but never have I received such marvellous care that I got from Dr Kelly and his superb staff in the day ward. Other patients I witnessed were treated in a manner nothing short of marvellous. I would like to acknowledge their work, and thank them for their superb treatment throughout.
